LAREDO, Texas, June 23 (Del Rio Online) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection said officers seized more than 1,100 pounds of suspected methamphetamine at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas, after a commercial truck was referred for a secondary inspection.

A CBP officer stopped a 2013 D-13 Volvo hauling a shipment manifested as polypropylene on Monday, June 15, the agency said in a press release. Officers then used a canine inspection and a nonintrusive inspection system to examine the load.

CBP said the search turned up 1,100.79 pounds of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $10,122,012. The agency said the drugs were seized.
