ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim reopened Tiana’s Bayou Adventure after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop, prompting a shutdown and a state inspection.

A Disneyland spokesperson said the cast member stopped the ride immediately after the boy got out of the vehicle. The child was taken to a local hospital for evaluation as a precaution and later released.

The incident happened Sunday, June 21, on the log-flume attraction at the Southern California theme park. Disneyland kept the ride closed for the rest of the day.

California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspectors later examined the attraction. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News that investigators “did not find any operational issues.”

Disneyland officials confirmed the ride resumed operation by Tuesday. The attraction is part of Disneyland Resort’s Disneyland Park, one of the region’s major travel destinations.
